At Modern Skyline both Jean and Matt leverage their deep expertise in building businesses and strong performance teams, knowledge of finance and a decade of development to find and develop unique real estate sites with strong underlying market fundamentals and upside potential.
Over the years Jean and Matt have gained scalable real estate development expertise and strong industry relationships working with best-in-class planners to maximize sellable square footage and value engineering techniques alongside equally talented engineers, architects and construction managers. We have built a strong team of highly talented professionals who are equally obsessed with delivering extraordinary product quality to our buyers and end users.
Matthew co-founded LCI an interactive marketing company in 2004 and through successful planning and implementation of strategy grew it 4,000% nationally landing the company on the Profit Hot 50 list of fastest growth start-ups in Canada in both 2006 and 2007. Clients included Roots Canada, City of Toronto, Alliance Atlantis, Adidas, Rexall and The Daniels Corporation. The company was sold to Arlene Dickinson’s national advertising agency for several million dollars in 2009.
With a strong passion for modernist architecture, Matt is learning there may be familial European ties dating back to Bruno Taut; one of the fathers of modernism.
Matt officially co-founded Modern Skyline with Jean in 2015.
Matt graduated from University of Western Ontario with a focus on Psychology, Applied Mathematics minor 1995 – 1999.
Matthew Tautt
Jean founded Proex in 1998; an HR and business consulting company. Jean successfully grew Proex thousands of percent since inception. Proex was recognized as One of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies by Profit Magazine for more than 10 years. Profit 100 recognizes the fastest growth companies in Canada over a 5 year span. Proex clients included Bell, Cogeco, GE, GSK and many public sectors clients including the Government of Ontario and Canada, the City of Toronto, OLG, TTC, Humber College and numerous others. Jean successfully sold Proex to an International France based company in 2016 for multi-millions of dollars.
Jean officially co-founded Modern Skyline with Matt in 2015.
Jean graduated from University of Sherbrooke with a focus on Business Administration, Option Marketing 1997.
